El Dorado came away with a doubleheader sweep in 5A-South play Tuesday, as the Wildcats downed J.A. Fair by scores of 10-0 and 14-0.
In the opener, Christian Webb threw a no-hitter for the Wildcats. He walked one and struck out six in three innings of work.
Landen Rainwater went 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs, while Shaun York was 1-for-1 with a triple, a walk and an RBI. He also scored two runs. Tyler Johnson was 1-for-1 with a run for the Wildcats.
In the nightcap, Rick Cazenave followed Webb’s lead with a no-hitter of his own. He walked four and struck out five in three innings of work.
Connor Black went 1-for-1 with a walk and two runs scored, while Brendan Jones was 1-for-1 with two runs scored.
Aki Segawa had a walk and scored a run for the Wildcats.
El Dorado (12-9, 4-5) will be back in action on Friday when they play at Hot Springs in a 5A-South tilt.
